European style lever placement- lever installed on the upper half of the escutcheon plate (see lever placement photo). Please also see lever set dimension and milling detail photos to ensure fitment. Fits standard 1-3/8” thick interior doors with 2-3/8” backset (backset is the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the cross-bore hole). When ordering, please specify if 2-3/4” backset is needed. Privacy button pushes in to lock and automatically releases when the interior lever is turned.
