I don't know why these have received negative reviews. They are very absorbent, do not leave lint, and dry quickly. And the size is great. I was able to dry two sink loads of dishes with out needing to switch towels. I have not had any edges fray as some people have reported, but honestly, I wouldn't really care if it happens as it wouldn't effect the drying capabilities of these towels. I use these to dry my dishes, not as decorations. And they get the job done well! That being said, I also like the look of these towels. Sleek simple design. I have no problems with these towels.After having decided to use cotton towels more often than paper towels, I searched for a good while before deciding on these because of their absorbency rating. Arrived promptly. Our kitchen is black, white and gray so colors good. Did not bleed when I washed. Not 100% satisfied on the absorbency. Great for drying off hands but not so great for wiping dishes. I still have to go over the plates several times to get it totally dry. Have yet to find any dish towel that truly does what it claims to without paying through the nose (even then I would still be skeptical) Pricing was fine so will keep.They are the perfect color for my kitchen. Just the right size for my needs and though they are washed frequently, the solid red is holding its color pretty well. Would definitely buy again.I don't often write reviews but since it seemed to take forever to research absorbent 100% cotton kitchen towels hopefully I can save you some time. I'm happy to say these towels do the trick, are very absorbent and dry quickly. If you use towels a lot it's nice to have one that dries and isn't sopping wet when you want to dry more dishes. The towel size is just right, not tiny like some of those more expensive "towels" that should be marked as bar mops. Only minor issue was one towel unraveled on the side after laundering the first time, but I just snipped of the fabric and good to go. The towels wash up nicely. If there are special care instructions I didn't follow them and was fine with the outcome. Highly recommend these towels.These towels hang in our kitchen, and are used constantly. I had a previous set that lasted for years. Recommend!They look very nice for a gift I need. Soft and well made.The towels were perfect for the kitchen.
