We purchased 3 sets of these towels to keep and give as gifts! I love that you have a specific towel for drying glassware, handling hot pans/serving plates, a hand towel, and bread bowl towel. The cotton is a tight weave and is made to last for many years. Will make a great gift and the box and presentation are ready to wrap.I was looking for a sturdy, classic dish towel and these towels fit the bill! They are absorbent and do the work of drying. They have a vibrant, classic look too! Very happy with these kitchen towels.Upon opening the package, I knew these were of exceptional quality because of the detail of being beautifully wrapped, with a thank you included inside. The different designs are handy for a nice presentation for the bread basket, glass and dish drying, and hand wiping. These Carlo Lamberti towels are soft, highly absorbent, generously sized, and are of exceptional quality, and, they launder beautifully! I'm happy with them!Was really impressed that each towel had a different weave, color, and size, depending on its function in the kitchen. A great gift idea for chefs of all types. He got on the WS kitchen towel train years ago and I haven't been able to derail him. Thank you, Carlo Lamperti, because I finally found some alternative kitchen towels that he doesn't snub!These towels arrived beautifully wrapped (what a gift these would make!). They are very absorbent, larger than the towel we have been using, slightly textured yet still soft, and just a NICE change to the rather rough texture that is the other towels we have used for years. The topper on this which helped my husband give these a chance is that the color is called "Ferrari Red". Ha!I'm going to slowly ease in the rest of this towel collection because I really love the idea of the different uses for the towels designated in the pictograms on the towels. Highly recommend.I had opted to order the heat resistant set of three red and white Carlo Lamperti towels and they did not disappoint.I tested one out, having used it to remove a metal baking pan from a 400° oven; the towel was folded over three times and although I could feel warmth, the temperature of the pan remained comfortable to handle. I also pulled the oven shelf out using the towel and experienced no issues. I suspect they would be good makeshift pot trivets as well.These quality towels are very well made, and I anticipate getting quite a bit of use out of them.
