The towels are thicker than cheap towels, but not necessarily plush. They are soft and absorbent. Very nice for sweat towel usage. Softness will be determined by the softness of your water, when washing. Fabric softener is not to be used.I needed these washcloths to use when I get bad migraines. They are very soft and seem to hold moisture in more so than other washcloths. Kind of expensive, but for what I use them for a really good product.I love these towels. I washed then separately first, and yes, there was lint to be cleaned out, this is normal. I don't know hy people complain about other issues, they work just fine for me. I ordered a second set. I have used them for about one month so far.The softness and absorbency of the product, as well as the depth of color, was a very welcome surprise. I truthfully did not expect this high a level of quality when I placed my order, especially with the highly affordable price.I would certainly order this product and other items in its line, when needed in the future.I use these for shaving and love having a "luxury" towel for this. One thing, however, is that even after several wash cycles, there is still lint residue at the sink and countertop. That won't stop me from buying again if needed.Have had these towels for about six months and they are wearing very well compared to others. They get washed almost daily and are keeping their absorbancy and softness and are not falling apart.
