This is a value. It looks less teel in person as there are so many different pieces of fabric involved in the making. There are some areas where a piece of fabric ends and slightly peaks up out of the rug. This takes absolutely nothing away from this super soft flexible funky rug. I purchased a very large 9'5" x 11'6 for the small 2 room cabin I live in. This rug fit's in perfectly in my artsy and rustic Vermont town. Everyone is crazy for it. The best part is, if needed I believe I could bring it to an industrial sized laundromat washer for a cold wash...only speculation...but major bonus for me. I'll probably by more of these for my bedrooms.
